German press lament Spanish curse....

Borussia Dortmund may have snatched a steely point from Real Madridon Tuesday night but the following defeats inflicted on Bundesliga's top sides have caused a stir among the local media.
"Always the Spanish," was the headline of German sports newspaper Bild above a photo of a distraught Thomas Muller, following Bayern Munich's single goal loss to Atletico Madrid.
"Ancelotti cannot overcome Atletico, [lacking] the killer instinct."
Bild also highlight the elderly nature of Bayern's side in the Spanish capital, which averaged 29.3 years of age and is their highest in eight years.
"Again 0-1," wrote Bavaria's Süddeutsche Zeitung, in reference to last season's semi-final scoreline, "A Bayern who dropped their intensity as the game went on lost once again to Atletico and they even got lucky (as Antoine Griezmann missed a penalty)."
With regard to Borussia Monchengladbach's 2-1 defeat at home to Barcelona, the media felt the loss of a potential upset when the hosts relinquished their lead.
"Gladbach dreamt of a miracle," said Bild, "they lead for 31 minutes but Barcelona showed no mercy."
