Luis Suarez causing controversy again

There's a school of thought to suggest that it is his rumbustious and competitive nature that makes Luis Suarez's football so impressive, however once again he is at the heart of controversy.
During the mid-week clash with Atletico Madrid, the centre-forward was involved in an incident with Filipe Luis in which the Brazilian defender accused Suarez of stamping on his foot.
The former Chelsea full-back uploaded a picture of his foot following the collision to which he received a less than sympathetic reply from the Uruguayan in the mixed zone.
"Football is for men," he explained.
Suarez is like one former Barcelona star from years gone by in Hristo Stoichkov, an individual who can produce all the brilliance in the world but is also capable of crossing the disciplinary line at any moment.
Many coaches have been forced to protect the former Liverpool forward in recent years with Kenny Dalglish's poorly thought out t-shirt protest the most high profile.
However Luis Enrique looked to protect his player during Friday's press conference as he claimed Suarez didn't intend to cause any damage to Los Colchoneros' full-back.
"I'm sure he didn't intent to offend or hurt anyone, but interpretations are the order of the day."
Thankfully sport gives individuals an opportunity to forget such episodes and put them in the past via a memorable display of technical acumen on the pitch.
The 29-year-old has this chance in Saturday's meeting with Sporting Gijon with the absence of Lionel Messi likely to place even more pressure on his shoulders.
