Danger for Barcelona as Hercules return to Camp Nou

Barcelona will likely have hoped for a little easier draw in the Copa del Rey, given Hercules' recent heroics against them.

The Blaugrana will travel to Alicante for the first leg at the end of November before welcoming the Segunda B outfit to the Camp Nou in December. Hercules currently occupy sixth place in the Spanish third tier but their recent record against Barcelona will serve as a massive warning to Luis Enrique's men not to take them lightly.

Although Hercules have a decent record of late against Barcelona in league action, domestic cup success very much belongs to the Catalan club.

They have met four times in that tournament and Barcelona have an unblemished 4-0 record, with their most recent meeting coming in 1995/96, when the Blaugrana triumphed 4-1 at home following a 0-0 draw on the road.
