Lucien Favre's side will be looking to continue their remarkable unbeaten run this season when they welcome Les Canaris to the Allianz Riviera, where a win will see them once again go six points clear of champions Paris Saint-Germain.
They have set a frightening pace so far, on a run of form that has drawn comparisons with the all-conquering PSG of last season. And Dante, who starred in dominant Bayern Munich sides during his time in Germany, sees no reason why Nice's run cannot continue.
"Everything is possible. I don't look at the table, only the number of goals we have conceded, and the players need to do the same - not give any gifts to anyone and let the month of May come around," the defender said in an interview with sports daily L'Equipe.
The 33-year-old also admitted that he has settled in perfectly to life by the Mediterranean on his return to French football a decade after a failed spell at the other end of the country with Lille.
'I have my well-being'
"It motivates me to be here. I feel better and I enjoy experiencing new things. Nobody wanted to kick me out at Bayern. Right up until the last day, the president asked me to stay. Nobody could understand my departure, but my time had come to move on," added Dante, who had a spell at VfL Wolfsburg before moving to Nice in the close-season.
"Life in Wolfsburg was complicated. We were not happy. There was a mixture of everything in my decision to come to Nice: the desire to come to another country, to prove myself somewhere different, take my revenge on Lille, help the coach, who wanted me to come, and play in the Europa League.
"The project at Nice, with the stadium, the training ground, the city, the sea, the French language.. I was about to get my German passport, which was important. I'll never get it now, but it doesn't matter. I have my well-being.
"I have found everything I was looking for when I arrived. I wouldn't be as happy as I am today if I were still at Bayern."
