Ahead of the showdown at the Camp Nou, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola have been held to a 1-1 draw against Everton, though that will not faze the Catalan coach or lead to any doubts in his approach and overall style.
Praising the defensive performance of the Toffees, the ex-Barcelona boss insisted that the team played well and perhaps deserved to win.
"I won't change our style of play," Guardiola said. "I'm not frustrated as this is the only way I want my teams to play.
"As we evolve, we are going to run into problems, but we have improved since the matches against Tottenham and Celtic.
With the Champions League match against his former side next up, Guardiola will remain true to his attacking style even at the Camp Nou.
"I believe they will be the ones that'll have the ball," the Catalan said. "I've always trained attack-minded teams and this performance won't be any different.
"The three players they have up front are fantastic and I love the football that they play."
