Kroos has played every minute since injuries to Casemiro and Modric

For Zinedine Zidane, midfielder Toni Kroos is undroppable, even more so since his partners in crime Luka Modric and Casemiro went down injured.
By far the most used player in the entire Real squad, the German has accumulated 1,211 minutes already this season, only being substituted off in four matches.
The only game Kroos didn't play from the outset was in the UEFA Super Cup, which was quite early in the season in any case, and against Espanyol in LaLiga, though he would come on to replace his Brazilian teammate at defensive midfield.

Kroos' minutes played since Cornella

  1. Espanyol* 73'
  2. Villarreal 90'
  3. Las Palmas 90'
  4. Borussia Dortmund** 90'
  5. Eibar 90'
  6. Betis 90'
  7. Legia 90'
  8. Athletic 90'
  9. Cultural Leonesa 90'
  10. Alavés 90'
  11. * Casemiro injury **Modric injury
There is some concern as to how the German will find ways to rest before the crucial part of the season rolls around, as he'll have to reach peak fitness at just the right time.
Most likely, Zidane will rest him in lower pressure scenarios once his other two trusted midfielders mark their returns.
