Neymar's father assures Barcelona player would cost €430m

Paris Saint-Germain threw the kitchen sink at Neymar during the summer and yet it wasn't enough to sign the Barcelona striker with the player's father insisting that a deal would need to reach 430 million euros.
The winger's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, insisted in September that the Ligue 1 champions pledged a 40m euro contract, hotel chain, and private jets without breaking Neymar's resolve.
In response to L'Equipe's latest reports of the attacker demanding PSG pay off his 40m euro of personal debts, his father has failed to deny such reports.Telling Brazil's Globo Esporte, he asserted value of the potential transfer was: "Obscene and intangible," due to Barcelona's unwillingness to sell.
In addition, Neymar Snr. stated that it would cost upwards of 430m euros to ensure that both player and Barcelona were happy with the deal, far outstretching Paul Pogba's 105m euro record transfer that took place in the same window.
Since the move to Paris collapsed, Neymar has agreed a contract renewal with the Blaugrana.Neymar will be playing for Barcelona next season as the star forward to put to bed the speculation that he would be moving elsewhere.
After Josep Bartomeu announced that the Brazilian was very close to signing a new contract with the Catalan giants, Neymar informed his social media followers that he is sticking with the Blaugrana.
"Very happy to say I'm continuing to live this dream! Come on Barca, come on Catalonia," he said.
As an integral part of Barcelona's South-American attacking trident, he formed a telling connection with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi during the last two seasons.
There had been rumours that other clubs were looking into the signing of the striker, such as Manchester United and PSG, but the Brazilian has decided to remain at the Blaugrana for the near future.
