Real Madrid to make Copa del Rey debut in Leon

Against Cultural Leonesa, Real Madrid look to forget last year's Copa del Rey ordeal with a deep run this time around.
Like Cadiz last season, Cultural are another side from Segunda B, and both Real and Leonesa are currently league leaders, after opponent stumbles on the weekend.
Cultural Leonesa's goal is to achieve a historic result at their own stadium in order to reach the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu alive, though reaching the tie is in itself already a victory.
Alvaro Morata and Lucas Vazquez are expected to get minutes amongst a rotated Zinedine Zidane side, with the BBC given a rest.
With both making the claim for more playing time, the duo will try to give their French boss more headaches in terms of team selection.
Though the format of the Spanish cup doesn't lead itself to upsets as much as in other countries, Wednesday's clash is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a small club like Leonesa and another chance for squad players to prove themselves and begin to change Zidane's mind.Depending on the stand, seats for the match will cost between 50 and 80 euros, although members of Cultural are entitled to half-price tickets for the game at the Estadio Reino de León.
Club members will have Friday and Saturday of this week to purchase their seats, with general sale tickets due to go on sale on Sunday. The general director of Cultural Leonesa, Felipe Llamazares, has revealed that the club will offer 'reasonable' prices for their upcoming Copa Del Rey tie against Real Madrid on October 26.
The European champions were ejected from last year's tournament after fielding the ineligible Denis Cheryshev, but will now face the Segunda B outfit from Leon.
One of the club's targets is to fill the Reino de Leon stadium, according to Llamazares.
"This tie is the perfect ingredient to capture the fans' imagination and this will hopefully push our project forward," said Llamazares.
Loyal fans are set to be rewarded, with a price scheme that sees existing members able to buy tickets at a discounted price.
Llamazares then went on to stress that this will be a brilliant opportunity in both social and economic terms because, although the Aspire Academy from Qatar borne most of budget, they want the club to become a viable entity.
It is unclear how much the club could earn in total from his fixture, but they have already earnt 60,000 by just getting to this stage of the competition, and that figure will surely swell once ticket sales and television rights are taken into consideration.
