Victor Valdes' new life

Victor Valdes has had a difficult couple of years, but seems to have found some stability at Aitor Karanka's Middlesbrough.
Living in Nunthorpe, an area with just 5000 inhabitants, it is a far cry from the 34-year-old's lengthy spell at Barcelona.
"It's quiet and withdrawn," said Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing.
"Their [Valdes and his wife] children attend the local school.
"They live one minute from my house, I can give advice on good restaurants and if Valdes needs a plumber, I can send my father."
After a poor spell at Manchester United and Standard de Liege, Valdes appears to be back to full confidence and is a regular in the Middlesbrough line-up, playing in the last six fixtures.
