There have been plenty of joyous moments spent by Barcelona fans and players alike under Luis Enrique, although the odd dispute has arisen.
One such example came in early 2015 when the coach left star man Lionel Messi out against Real Sociedad, expecting a cruise in San Sebastian but encountering a devilishly tough game that the hosts won 1-0.
After that defeat, Messi missed training and talk of a rift persisted for the following weeks and months, even though the Blaugrana picked up their results in view of a treble-winning campaign.
The telling moment came late in the season when Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich came to Catalunya for a crunch semi-final first leg, which saw the Argentine inspire a massive 3-0 win.
At the final whistle, Enrique and Messi publicly embraced in their first heartfelt gesture of respect since losing in Sociedad, labelling Guardiola as the maker of his most-successful successor, and unable to drag his new side into the final at Barcelona's expense.
The father of Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has claimed that his son is unlikely ever to find himself back at Barcelona.
However, Valenti Guardiola doesn't believe that his son will be tempted into an emotional return someday and thinks his time at the club has run its course.Guardiola served the Catalan club with distinction as both a player and coach during a glittering career on both the field and the bench.
"Would Pep return to Barcelona? To do what, work as a ball boy?" Guardiola Snr told Cadena Ser.
"I don't see him going back there.
"His time at the club has come and gone and I think we can certainly rule out him going back as coach at the very least."
Valenti also effectively ruled his son out of ever taking charge of another major job in his homeland: the Spanish national team.
"I would think that perhaps he could take over the Catalan national team," he continued.
"But I can't see him taking over Spain.
"I don't have anything against anyone and everyone is free to think what they want but that's my opinion.
"In the end, I don't know what he will do - and who am I to say what he should do anyway?!"
