Callejon: It's important Lopetegui trusts us

Although he only enjoyed a few minutes on the pitch against Macedonia on Saturday, Jose Callejon faced the press and was clear in his opinion that he and his teammates need to be trusted by Julen Lopetegui implicitly. The Spain coach has certainly got off on the right foot with his staff and performance wise, La Roja are playing as well as at any time over the last couple of years. "We hope to continue this way as we've started very well and are very happy," he said. "It's important that Lopetegui gives us confidence." Napoli-based Callejon also had words of praise for two of his colleagues. "Vitolo is at a great level and Lucas Vazquez is also doing well," he continued. "We are all looking forward to the next match." That's against England at Wembley on Tuesday and there's a particular reason why the Spaniard is excited. "It will be the first time I play there [at Wembley] and I'll remember it as a special moment as time passes," he said. "We're looking forward to giving a good image of ourselves."
