Calling it quits is either said than done, so former Real Madrid striker Carlos Aranda joined his hometown club C.D. El Palo on a free, according to Diario Sur.The 36-year-old Aranda hadn't had a team since 2014/15 when he was with Numancia.
"I'm going to get into shape and join the squad as soon as I can," Aranda said.The Malaga-born veteran forward will look to contribute goals to help El Palo in the Spanish fourth division.After his stint in the Real Madrid academy, Aranda went on to a long career throughout the Spanish footballing pyramid, featuring for Numancia, Villarreal, Albacete, Sevilla, Murcia, Granada, Osasuna, Levante, Zaragoza, Granada and Las Palmas.
