LaLiga denounce Pizjuan's insults to Barcelona and Suarez

The row over Sevilla's recent home loss to Barcelona shows little sign of abating, with LaLiga (as an organisation) stepping in to denounce the home supporters' conduct during the match. In a statement released by the league's governing body, specific incidents were cited as being particularly disappointing.Among them were offensive chants made about Barcelona as a club and Luis Suarez's nationality. The statement read: "In the second minute of game, and during the course of the game, about 2,000 local fans located in sectors N11 and N12 of Gol Norte where the group known as "Biris Norte" is located...sang for about 15 seconds: 'LOLOLOLO LOLOLOLO BARCA, BARCA, SH*T'. "In the 61st minute of the game, and after the second goal scored by the away team, about 2,000 local fans sang: 'Uruguayan, son of a bitch,' in reference to Luis Suarez, a Uruguayan national."
Such abuse also happened late into the match against Valencia, with a group of Los Che supporters reacting angrily to Barcelona's final goal. Again, chants about Suarez's heritage were audible, while a bottle-throwing incident marred the visitors' late winner. Both clubs have been charged for their conduct during the clash. The incident took place towards the end of the Blaugrana's 3-2 win over Valencia at the Estadio Mestalla in October, when a plastic bottle thrown in anger after the late winning goal struck Neymar. As well as the fine, the fan who threw the bottle has also been issued with a six-month stadium ban as punishment. Deportivo La Coruna have also been hit with a 30,000 euros fine for a banner that was on display in the Maraton from the Riazor Blues section of supporters.
The fine is so severe due to the fact that this is the fourth such incident involving that particular fans group in the past two years. Athletic Club have also been forced to pay a 3,500 euro fine after one fan gained access to the stadium with two cans of beer for their game against Osasuna on October 30, while the fan has been fined 3,001 euros himself and has been banned from the stadium for six months. That same punishment has been handed to a Celta Vigo supporter who threw a bottle of water at Ajax supporters during a recent Europa League clash. The committee is also keen to push through four separate fines for incidents ahead of Atletico Madrid's recent LaLiga clash away to Sevilla. Three different fans are to be fined 7,000 euros for carrying a knife, with another 5,000 euros for fans involved in violent clashes with security beforehand.
