Nolito: Gundogan equaliser changed everything

Pep Guardiola's tactics were lauded by Nolito after Manchester City's beating of Barcelona, and the winger believes his side's thirst for more goals helped them seal a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Despite going a goal down to Barcelona in the 21st minute, the Citizens rallied from behind thanks to an Ilkay Gundogan brace and a Kevin De Bruyne free-kick.
The win leaves the Etihad Stadium side in second place, two points behind leaders Barcelona, and in prime position to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Nevertheless, the Spanish international believes that Gundogan's equaliser just moments before the break set the team up for a an excellent second half performance and hopes it's a sign of things to come.
"I think we were superior in the second half and we are very happy with the win," he told reporters. "If we did not win today, we were going to have a fair bit to do."
"With the 0-1 we did not know where we were but after the equaliser, all the players have flourished.
"We are pleased with the result and now think of our next game in the league.
"I do not know if we were hungrier but the game has changed with the equaliser. We went from strength to strength from 1-1 onwards."
"Guardiola proved why he is a great coach and we are still trying to instill his philosophy. We are soldiers under the command of Guardiola."
