Play it again Marc-Andre

On Tuesday night, Manchester City supporters will get to see Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen up close and personal, a goalkeeper who relegated former No.1 Claudio Bravo to a move to the Etihad Stadium and who had the third highest pass completion success rate during the first game between these two teams.
Pep Guardiola admitted that there was contact with the German this summer but negotiations to try and bring him to City didn't bear fruit.
Barcelona decided to make ter Stegen their main keeper and so Pep activated a 'plan B' and took the Chilean to England instead.
The reason that Guardiola was interested in both goalkeepers was because of their ability to play with their feet, a virtue that in the case of ter Stegen is more pronounced.
As Andoni Cedrun explained in MARCA a few days ago, the German "has a better touch than many outfield players."
Despite being goalkeeper, ter Stegen is someone who plays with his feet the most during games and his numbers often exceed those of his colleagues.
The first leg against City for example... the German completed 40 passes.
Only Umtiti (64) and Stones (44) completed more on the night.
Therefore, the goalkeeper remains a critical figure for Luis Enrique.
