Ramos: The return of the beast

In the midst of injuries, of the uncertainty of a Real Madrid side without Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Pepe and Alvaro Morata, Los Blancos will be grateful for the recovery of a beast of a player - Sergio Ramos. The captain, the leader of the team and the executioner of Atletico Madrid. After more than a month out with injury, the central defender is back just in time to help Real begin their most difficult period of the season so far. It will be Ramos' 34th Madrid derby and Atleti will become, at least until El Clasico on December 3, the team that he has faced most times in his career. Remarkably, he has been a part of 19 wins, seven draws and seven defeats, even taking into account the period that Diego Simeone has been at the helm for the rojiblancos. "He's our captain and it's a joy to see him again, not only because he's playing, but because he's important for the group as well," Zinedine Zidane said at his pre-match press conference.
