As every year, the most outstanding players from the last season in the Spanish First and Second Divisions are recognised at a festival of football. The great and the good of LaLiga will bear witness to those who so impressed in 2015/16. At the MARCA football gala awards ceremony this year, Cristiano Ronaldo will be presented with the Alfredo Di Stefano Award; Luis Suarez with the Pichichi Trophy; Alvaro Morata as most outstanding player of the Spanish team and Diego Simeone will collect the Miguel Munoz Award. In addition, Jan Oblak will receive the Zamora Trophy; Carlos Velasco Carballo the Trophy Guruceta and Aritz Aduriz the Zarra trophy.
For the Segunda Division, Sergio Leon takes both the Pichichi and Zarra Awards; Isaac Becerra the Zamora Trophy; Oliver de la Fuente Ramos the Guruceta Award and Asier Garitano the Miguel Munoz Award, recognising the great campaign he conducted. The ceremony will be held at Florida Retirement, Madrid and be presented by Eduardo Garcia, deputy director of MARCA, and Monica Martinez. Ronaldo will be receiving the Trofeo Di Stefano for the fourth time whilst Suarez's Pichichi is thanks to the 40 goals he scored in 35 games in 2015/16.
