Turan full of optimism ahead of Champions League clash

Even if the home draw against Malaga has tempered the expectations among Barcelona supporters, Arda Turan remains confident the Blaugrana are poised to have a successful 2016/17 season. An otherworldly display by keeper Carlos Kameni prevented the reigning LaLiga champions from keeping pace with current leaders Real Madrid, but the Turkish star urged supporters not to give up on the squad. "Well keep working hard and we are going to win all trophies at the end of the season," Turan wrote on Instagram. "Visca Barca." The Catalans, who sit atop their Champions League group with nine points, will travel to Celtic Park, where the hosts consistently challenge some of the best European sides. Stuart Armstrong scored Celtics only goal this weekend against Kilmarnock, enough to secure the victory for the Glasgow-based club. Barcelona must obtain a satisfactory result against the super hoops in order to advance to the round of 16 without having to deal with Borussia Moenchengladbach at the Camp Nou after El Clasico.
