Eintracht Frankfurt are incredibly impressed with young Real Madrid centre-back Jesus Vallejo who is playing at the club on loan, so much so that some in the Spanish capital are beginning to take notice.
Vallejo had already shined with the Spain youth teams and with Zaragoza in the country's second flight, but to be playing at such a high level in one of the world's premier competitions that is the Bundesliga, is yet another promising step in the 19-year-old's career.Choosing to finish the season at Eintracht, the Spaniard has started in eight out of nine Bundesliga matches, and his coach Niko Kovac is already counting on him.
"Vallejo's play is scandalous," Kovac said after the defender's performance against Bayern Munich.
Zinedine Zidane's staff and the rest of the club have obviously kept an eye on the player despite playing in Germany, and hope to incorporate him into the first team squad as soon as next season.
That being said, even with current injuries to Real's centre-backs, the club believes it to be in everyone's best interest for Vallejo to continue to get continuous playing time in Germany, rather than end his loan spell early to bring him back in January.
