Zaldua: Thank you Aduriz for remembering me

Aritz Aduriz made history with his five goals against Genk, becoming the first Athletic striker to score a 'repoker' in the current format of the Champions League, and his feat has brought back memories for Jose Antonio Zaldua who was the last Spaniard to score five in a game back in 1965/66.
Playing for Barcelona at the time, Zaldua's five came in the Fairs Cup on October 6, 1965. Radio MARCA decided to recall that record with the man himself.
"It's been 51 years since I remember doing one of the greatest things I've ever done in football," Zaldua said. "The proof [of how difficult the achievement was] is that we have had to wait 50 years for a Spaniard, Aduriz, to do it again."
It has piqued the interest of his family, something which Zaldua will be forever grateful to Aduriz for.
"For me it is great news and especially for my family," he continued. "Watching and hearing that their grandfather scored five goals many years ago. "Hopefully Aduriz will continue scoring goals for Spanish football."
After reading MARCA's report from Barcelona's 7-1 victory over Utrecht, Zaldua took this opportunity to thank the Basque striker.
"Thank you Aduriz, by scoring five goals and remembering me," he said. "I have a real admiration for him, for all that this he doing for his team, He is a great player."
As to who is the best No.9 for Spain, Zaldua is clear.
"I like Aduriz and Morata. He's a young player, he's playing well they're the best in this regard," he concluded.
