No Champions League team run more than Atletico

After topping their Champions League group on 15 points, Atletico Madrid were found to have ran more than any other side in the competition during this season's group stage.
Only Barcelona recorded as many points as Los Rojiblancos, with Diego Simeone's side losing 1-0 in the final matchday against Bayern Munich, and Monday will see the draw for the round of 16.
The loss against Bayern saw Atletico cover the most amount of ground in the history of the Champions League during a 90 minute match with a gargantuan 124 kilometres.
Last season saw Atletico run 119km against Bayern in the semi-final, more than the 116km covered in the 1-0 surprise win against Barcelona or the 109km ran at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in 2014/15.
The 124.029km that Simeone's side covered against Bayern is also then, by far the highest amount in the Champions League this season, and only the Russian side Rostov have come close to matching that figure, with 122km ran against PSV Eindhoven in the final matchday or the 121km dispatched at the Estadio Vicente Calderon.
The total distance across Atletico's six fixtures is an enormous 703km while Rostov are second on 702km; no other team in the competition has reached the 700 mark.
Of the teams to have reached the knockout round, Benfica are the closest team to matching Atletico on 662km.
There is perhaps no surprise to see that three of Simeone's most important players have covered the most ground, with Gabi on 71km, Koke on 70km and Antoine Griezmann on 69km - all three players feature in the top 10 in distance travelled.
