Di Stefano to have Valdebebas street named after him

Local authorities have passed a motion to name a street in north-east Madrid after footballing icon Alfredo di Stefano.

Approved unanimously, a road near Real Madrid's training ground in Valdebebas has been selected for the tribute.

Passing away in July 2014, the Buenos Aires-born striker played for the national sides of Argentina, Colombia, and Spain, as well as enjoying an incredible spell at Real, who made him their honorary president in 2000.
