Ribery: Griezmann is not a world class player yet

Appearing in the same international side has not been enough for Frank Ribery to pour cold water on claims that his fellow Frenchman Antoine Griezmann is a world class player.
The Bayern Munich winger retired from international duty in 2014 and has said that Griezmann, who won the Euro 2016 Golden Boot, will need to prove his ability more consistently over the next few years before he can be considered an elite player.
"You can congratulate him when he has played at that level for 10, 12, 15 years, but for now he is not a world class player yet," explained the 33-year-old in Sport Bild.
"Maybe in the past ten years I have always been among the best players at that level, but now I'm injured."
Ribery won 80 caps for France and netted on 16 occasions, but injuries have restricted him in the past two seasons - with only 45 club appearances in total after retiring from the international setup.
